I have some very important and exciting news to share. Blue Ridge Bank is changing its name effective October 15, 2011, to Blue Ridge Bank. The name change is largely a recognition of the continued growth of our customer base into markets outside of Page County, and it also serves the purpose of aligning our bank name with Blue Ridge Bankshares (BRBS:pk), the parent company of the Bank.
While you will notice significant changes to signage and letterhead, the core values of our bank will remain the same. Our customers and communities are the center of our business model. We maintain a strong commitment to improving the lives of those we serve, whether through residential mortgage lending that provides homes or commercial lending that provides capital to grow and create jobs. Our bank has served its communities since 1893, and we look forward to serving current and future customers with the same dedication we always have.
The Bank’s phone numbers, locations, and hours will not change. The new web address will be www.mybrb.com (easy to remember if you just think My Blue Ridge Bank).
Again, I want to reemphasize to you that nothing has changed other than the name. We remain the same independent, community-minded bank we have been for nearly 120 years. If anything, we want to take this time to rededicate ourselves to ensuring we are doing everything we can to provide our customers the best possible banking experience we can through combining personal service and modern technology.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or one of our dedicated team members. With deepest gratitude, I remain
